Aural pick me ups, cool cartoons by day and drive-ins by night. MTV and BET felt so fine. Even the cheesiest things could sweep into wonderland.
It was a different world, more vivid than a dream. I know it used to feel like everything. Life is meant to refresh and revolve and renew, refresh and raise vibrations anew.
Seeing bright lights. Rosy tints, tends to be how we soothe. Drugs and drama, less sophisticated attitudes ruled the day. Crazy give and take. Finding balance to stay awake. Old school values touch and heal. Old school prejudices….not so much.
